Tea and Coffee Experiment

I decided to create letters that could have been sent during the war, and never received. These are standard experiments, so I have kept it to the standard tea and coffee tint.

For the letter, I kept it brief due to it being a quick experiment, and therefore asked ChatGPT for an opening.

I like both of these experiments for different reasons. The first experiment was successful due to the handwriting and it appears more authentic, using a spare piece of paper they would have lying around.

I think my second experiment is more successful, because I think it looks more realistic, personal and thoughtful opposed to my first one. The first experiment appears more staged in comparison to this one.

For both experiments, I covered them in coffee to age the paper, as well as burning it too. Not only does one have lines and the other plain, but one piece is cartridge paper and the other is regular which is why the two have taken the colouring differently.
